Angelia Gabrena Ong was hailed as Miss Philippines Earth in this year's one of the country's prestigious pageants held last May 31 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Ong bested other 37 delegates who represented various cities, municipalities and provinces.






During the Q and A portion Ong was asked,
"Do you believe in same sex marriage?"

The 24-year-old from Manila City answered:

I think it really depends to the person, if he or she believes in sex marriage but for me, if the person feels that he or she needs to be married to show his or her love, then I don’t mind having sex marriage. If you feel that that is love, then so be it.
