Kapuso loveteam Ken Chan and Barbie Forteza, who were tested and proven in their past two TV series - Tween Hearts and Meant to Be - which is the result of their successful tandem, reunited in Regal Entertainment's latest movie offering 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter.'
"This Time I'll Be Sweeter" director Joel Lamanngan together with Mother Lily during the bloggers conference held at 38 Valencia Events Place last November 3.
KenBie will spread love, tears and romantic excitement in their first ever romantic-comedy-drama flick showing this November 8 in cinemas nationwide.
"This Time I'll Be Sweeter" is so much different from the pair's recently-concluded soap 'Meant to Be' as it requires from Barbie and Ken much deeper emotional range without sacrificing moments of kilig, joy and laughter.
During the bloggers conference, Ken and Barbie shared the sweetest things they know about each other.
"Naalala nya yung mga kwento ko sa kanya 6 years ago na hindi ko akalain na maalala nya kasi its the smallest things talaga, which is na nag pay attention si Ken pag kasama ko sya" - Barbie
"Sweetest things about Barbie is yung pagiging thoughtful nya at maalaga, magpapa bili pa sya ng pagkain sa kasama nya and pag may special occasion naalala nya at alam nya kapag pagod ka na sa set at sobrang masaya sya kasama" - Ken
In the movie, Barbie plays the role of Erika, a cum laude graduate who succeeds as a field reporter, while Ken plays the role of Tristan who ends up working for the family-owned airline company.
