In a memo, MTRCB invited them for a conference scheduled on August 18, 10:30 a.m. at their office
to discuss about the said issue.
MTRCB was referring to a scene where female housemates made fun of Badjao Girl's undergarment.
The content of the memorandum reads:
“Further to recent feedback that we received through social media and as well as the result of our own monitoring, through our Monitoring and Inspection Unit, we refer to the above-captioned episode which allegedly depicted the “bullying” of one housemate by the name of Rita “Badjao Girl” Gaviola.
With the above, and considering further the age as well as gender of the concerned housemate, not to mention the representation made in your program that she belongs to an indigenous group or peoples of the Philippines, we are impelled to ask your attendance, through your authorized representative/s at a conference scheduled for 18 August 2016, 10:30 a.m. at the MTRCB Adjudication Room.”
