The two semifinalists from Mindanao garnered the highest combined scores from the judges and the madlang people’s text votes – 95.67% for Jovany and 74.05% for Alfred – in the week-long semi-finals held from August 7 to 12.
They both won P150,000, while contenders Aila Santos of Davao City and John Mark Saga of Dasmarinas, Cavite brought home P25,000.
